Do you get tested for STDs when you go to detox?

Someone I know is going to detox for alcohol abuse do they get tested for STDs if they say they’ve been having unprotected seX?

I doubt it. If it’s just for alcohol abuse, they probably wouldn’t test them. The person could ask for one, and the doctors may suggest one.
They have to request an STD test….unless they are an IV drug user…then they will do it automatically.
no, that is ridiculous. if he asks for it maybe.
They will test you if you want. They will ask you if you want to be tested.
