My dad already quit alcohol years ago, so it really surprised me that he started again now. I just learned this when he called me up on the phone in the middle of the night and he really sounded drunk. He admitted that he was, and this really scares me. I guess this is because he has recently learned that my mom, whom he divorced years ago, has already found another guy to marry.
